FROM CAPE MAY NJ BEACHES,.. " THE OLDEST VICTORIAN VACATION TOWN IN THE COUNTRY "
Sea Glass is technically classified as a mineral gem due to hydration
Hydration (surf-tumbling for years) Removes the lime originaly needed to create the glass (LEAVING ONLY A SILICON MINERAL FINISH)
Each of the gems I use for crafting have experienced years of ocean turbulence
... and thus have been altered into Semi-precious Mineral Gems

Plastic bottles and dumping laws have made Surf-Tumbled Sea Glass RARER and MUCH Harder to find ..with each wave that crashes.
From the Glass I pick up - only about 15-20% is high quality and useable for Jewelry !
